The Every Day Bowl

Not every meal needs to be an enrichment event. Sometimes the goal is simply slowing the dog down, making the meal last a little longer, and letting eating become something the dog actually participates in rather than eliminates in a few seconds.

The Everyday Bowl is designed for exactly that. The interior uses two textures, a field of small raised nubs in the centre and a ring of arc-shaped ridges around the outer wall, to break up the food and create gentle resistance as the dog eats. It is not challenging in the way the Puzzle Pieces or the All-in-One Mat are. It is consistent, reliable and easy enough to use at every single meal, which is the whole point of an everyday bowl.

A large suction cup on the base holds it firmly in place throughout, so the bowl stays where it belongs regardless of how enthusiastically the dog approaches their food. The rounded silicone rim is soft against the snout and gums, and the whole thing goes straight in the dishwasher.

The Small suits puppies and small breeds. The Large suits medium and large breeds, and holds a meaningful meal without becoming difficult to manage. Large dogs are often fast eaters and the consequences of that, from bloat risk to a mealtime that's over before it's started, are significant enough that slowing the pace seriously matters.
