The Harmony Collar was created as a kinder, gentler alternative to a standard flat collar and to the chain or fabric martingale collars already on the market. It’s the collar I would choose for any dog, whether they are an easy everyday walker, a stronger puller or a dog with a talent for slipping out of regular collars.

At the centre of the design is a smooth silicone tension loop. When tension rises through the leash, the loop shortens within a carefully fitted range and then releases again as that tension eases. Even at its closest setting, it is designed not to create harmful pressure directly against your dog’s throat, creating gentle feedback rather than a harsh correction.

This pressure-release system does not replace training, but when paired with kind, reward-based loose-leash training, it can support calmer, more connected walks.

Unlike many traditional martingale collars, the Harmony Collar has an easy-to-use buckle. This allows you to create the right fit once, then simply buckle it on and off when it is time to head out, without needing to slip it over your dog’s head or readjust it before every walk.

The Harmony Collar was created with my own companion Oliver, better known as Olly, in mind. When he first came into my life, he was incredibly fearful of anything going around his body and the feel of a harness was simply too overwhelming for him. He was also a great escape artist with regular collars, but still needed a comfortable, secure way to get out into the world.

I was never really completely comfortable recommending the chain or fabric martingale alternatives available to my clients or using them with my own dogs. But, in cases like Olly’s, a more secure option was needed and there was no other choice available at that time. That need became the beginning of this design.

Finished in our signature colour combination, the Harmony Collar is waterproof, easy to wipe clean and fitted with rust-resistant soft-gold hardware. Each collar also includes an elegant, appropriately sized soft-gold monogram tag, adding that signature Positive Pets finishing touch.

The Walk Collection was designed to reflect the values at the heart of Positive Pets: Kindness, consideration and a force-free approach to life with dogs. I chose waterproof silicone-coated webbing not only for its practical advantages, but as a considered alternative to leather. This allowed the entire collection to be created without animal-based materials, while retaining the thoughtful details and everyday practicality that matter.

Each of our Walk Collection pieces is handcrafted through a considered process of individual assembly, sewing and hand-finishing by highly skilled makers. Every product then undergoes a rigorous final manual inspection and finishing process before it leaves the workshop. I then personally inspect each piece once more before it’s packed, I want every guardian to feel completely confident in the piece they choose for their dog.

Every webbing width used in the Harmony Collar forms part of our strength-tested webbing range. We are incredibly proud of the results, and they give us full confidence in the strength and reliability of our webbing for even the most beautiful yet sometimes chaotic days we spend with our dogs.
