Licking is one of the most effective self-soothing behaviours a dog has access to. It activates the parasympathetic nervous system, slows the heart rate, and shifts the dog out of an alert or overstimulated state in a way that few other activities can match.
The Paw Feeder is designed around that mechanism.
Fill the dome with wet food, peanut butter, bone broth, or any freeze-safe paste. Freeze overnight. The paw-print lick tray on the underside offers an immediate lick surface while the frozen dome defrosts slowly, extending the session and keeping the dog calm and occupied. Suction cups on the base keep the tray firmly in place so the dog can focus on the task rather than chasing it across the floor.
The small size suits puppies, toy breeds, and smaller dogs, or owners who want a shorter enrichment window.
