Fast eating is one of the most common issues Claudia sees in the dogs she works with, and it is rarely about greed. It is about a nervous system that has not been given a reason to slow down. The Petal Puzzle Piece changes the pace of the meal by making the dog work for it, not as a punishment, but as a form of engagement that activates the nose, slows the body, and quietly settles the mind.
The geometric petal pattern is not decorative. Each arc creates a small pocket that holds food just out of easy reach, requiring the dog to navigate with their snout rather than inhale. The suction cups underneath grip the floor and hold the mat steady throughout the meal, no matter how determined the dog.
The puzzle-piece silhouette is deliberate. Each piece connects to others in the range, so you can build a larger feeding mat as the collection grows. More pieces, more surface area, more engagement. Each piece works independently in the meantime.
